When you register, we collect your email address and a hashed password. During API use we log request metadata (timestamps, captcha type, solve result, and IP address) to calculate your balance and detect abuse. We do not collect images you submit after the solve is complete. To protect your account we also keep a sign-in log: date and time, IP address, browser information (User-Agent) and a browser fingerprint. The fingerprint is a hash computed in your browser from its technical characteristics; it helps us detect suspicious sign-in attempts and is not used to track you on other sites.
Your data is used solely to provide the service: authenticate your account, deduct balance on successful solves, and display usage statistics in your dashboard. We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
We process your data on the following bases: performance of a contract — providing the service, calculating your balance, and supporting you; legitimate interest — abuse prevention and account security (sign-in log, API request metadata); legal obligation — where disclosure is required by law or a valid legal process.
We rely on a limited set of contractors (processors) to run the service: hosting provider Hetzner — servers located in the European Union, hosting account data and logs; Yandex 360 — delivery of transactional emails (address verification, password reset). When you top up your balance, payment data is handled by the payment provider acting as an independent controller: we only receive the information needed to credit your funds. Data is shared with contractors only to the extent required to operate the service.
Data is stored on servers in the European Union. The operator is registered in Georgia, so data moves between these jurisdictions only to the extent needed to provide the service, with the level of protection described in this policy.
We use one session cookie to keep you logged in. No tracking pixels, no third-party analytics scripts are loaded on this site.
Account data is kept for as long as your account exists. Request logs and the sign-in log older than 90 days are automatically purged. To delete your account and all associated data, contact us at the email below.
You can request access to your data, its correction or deletion, or object to processing — email privacy@captcha-solver.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you believe your rights have been violated, you may also lodge a complaint with the data protection authority in your country.
